Ok Guys:
Here is my Sunday's AutoX's experience. One, I was the talk of the day......the hood got popped alot. I wanted to do well, but I have some handling issues to sort out, as well as the driver.
My set-up GC 375Frt/250Rr Agx 8ways Racebeat big sway bar front and rear with 225/40r16 Frt and 245/45r16 Rr Toyoy t1s's. I need to install the 500 lb spring in the front. The car was soft in the front. The rear sway bar had to come off...disconnect it from the car.....was to tail happy. The car was a hand full. Lots of power and not smooth. Part of it is the driver. I had the class leader in the spec. miata group drive the car and he shaved 3 seconds off my time. Again the suspension needs work.
I was told the 500lb. front spring should be the first upgrade, along with taking the rear sway bar off the car. Then the next step would be a better set of tires....like Toyo ra1's, hoozer's, etc... to get the power to hook up and the front to bite. I look forward to getting it sorted out. I was in EP class per the SCCA rule book.
I had a great time learning how crazy this car is.....all over the place. Lee, I never spun it though....came close !!!!!!!

Yea the tail hang'n out is very fun, but not fast around the course. I had to slow it down to get it together. Still had fun. Yes, I had my hands full......I was all over the wheel!!!!! How does the car ride with the 500lbs. fronts? Mine for the street seems right, but when pushed hard like Sundays event, they show how soft they are. I plan on doing more events. My goal is to learn how to drive it better and to get the suspension working right with the combo. I figure if I can get it to be more predictable in how the car reacts in a autocross, I figure I will be better off when I go to a road course.
